Art, Research & The Human Experience

open call

A large amount of valuable research remains within academic papers, reports, datasets, and institutional spaces, often making it difficult to reach wider audiences. Human Measure asks what happens when we bring this knowledge beyond its original context and explore it through art, storytelling, and creative collaboration.

Through artist and researcher partnerships, the project explores how data, evidence, and ideas can be translated into accessible, engaging, and meaningful creative forms. We are interested in the human experiences, overlooked perspectives, unexpected patterns, and difficult questions that research can reveal and how artistic practice can help us encounter them differently.

We welcome artists and researchers interested in working across disciplines, challenging conventional ways of communicating knowledge, and exploring how research can become something people feel, question, experience, and understand.
